Taking others feeling into consideration

“A fool finds no pleasure in understanding
but delights in airing his own opinions.”
~Proverbs 18:2~
Have you ever been involved in a conversation that has
an abundance of opinions, lacks validity, and despite numerous attempts,
is impossible to get a word in edgewise?
Well…
“My dear brothers, take note of this:
Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak
and slow to become angry, for man’s anger
does not bring about the righteous life
that God desires.”
~James 1:19-20~
Remember…
Dialogue promotes and encourages conversation,
but a monologue can stir frustration
and provoke anger.
So…
“Let your conversation be always full of grace,
seasoned with salt, so that you may know
how to answer everyone.”
~Colossians 4:6~
May we take others feeling into consideration
by listening a little more…
and speaking a lot less.
Blessings,
Glenda
